What do we do?
There is a plethora of scholarships that are left unutilized due to lack of awareness, in India. We work towards maximizing the impact of such scholarships with the help of best-in- class technology and a dedicated team of experts
& volunteers. Our team strives to reach out to the most remote locations of the nation to ensure that no student is left unaware of the scholarships.

We dream of a society that is free of the circumstances leading to incomplete education or illiteracy.
Popularly known as the 'Scholarship man of India', Ashutosh started Buddy4Study in year 2011. Ashutosh built scholarship ecosystem to help students facing financial crisis in continuing their education journey.
An alumnus of MERI, Kolkata and IMT, Ghaziabad, Ashutosh is the perfect amalgamation of technology, management & entrepreneurship. He led strategic collaborations and helmed Buddy4Study as a visionary and thought leader. Ashutosh is a prolific writer and has authored India's first scholarship guidebook for school students. He regularly contributes to leading publications on issues related to education, funding solutions for students.

Raj Kishor is a purpose-driven leader working at the intersection of education, impact, and meaningful scale. As the Director of Buddy4Study India Foundation, he plays a key role in enabling lakhs of students to access financial support and pursue their dreams.
Over the years, Raj has led large cross-functional teams and contributed to managing more than 80 social-sector projects simultaneously, building systems grounded in transparency, accountability, and long-term impact. His leadership philosophy is simple — focus on clarity, discipline, and execution.
To continuously strengthen his perspective, He is also pursuing professional courses from IIT Delhi, deepening his understanding of innovation, problem-solving, AI and strategic thinking. This blend of structured learning and real-world execution shapes his approach to building sustainable, high-impact solutions.
Raj Kishor
Director
Prakash Chandra Kandpal, Director at Buddy4Study, brings 36+ years of leadership experience across SBI Group in banking, insurance and investments. He has led SBI General Insurance as MD & CEO and served as COO at SBI Funds Management. Mr Kandpal also serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several prominent institutions, such as Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd and HDFC Pension Management Company Ltd. Once a scholarship beneficiary himself, he strongly believes financial hurdles should never stop deserving students. A recipient of the Business Leader of the Year 2021, Mr Kandpal guides Buddy4Study with his expertise in governance and drives strategic growth to expand education funding opportunities.
